PVP COVID-19 PLAN SUMMARY

The Executive Board of Park Valley Pool (PVP) has worked diligently to ensure a safe operation of the pool. We have made every reasonable effort to implement the guidance provided by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS).

To obtain mandatory compliance, PVP has developed and will implement the following items from the formal plan (full plan available for review below).

The PVP Covid-19 plan is subject to change when CDC and NCDHHS guidance changes.

• Utilize Pool Attendants in conjunction with some Lifeguards to ensure staff are available to properly clean and disinfect.

• PVP will follow any “Closure Periods” or “Stay at Home orders”, when in effect.

• PVP will set up tables in a manner that respects Social Distancing Guidelines. Gathering in groups of people outside of your family unit is discouraged unless proper social distancing is maintained.

• PVP will have all chairs and lounges 6 feet apart unless members are of the same family unit.

• Encourage families to bring their own pool toys and not to share outside of the family unit

• Routine cleaning

• Provide hand sanitizer at entrance

• Disinfect tables and chairs in between use and ensure appropriate dry time per manufacturer’s recommendations
