This tribute also honors other PSHS alumni, student-activists not on the Bantayog ng mga Bayani Wall of Remembrance, and who have passed away before, during or after Martial Law. Four of them died during the Marcos dictatorship, including one who was killed during the internal purges of the CPP-NPA. Yet another was a victim of an ambush in front of his home in 2009.
These honorees were endorsed by their respective batch mates.*
photo from Remember Francis Sontillano Facebook Page. caption reads:
"Protest by students of different colleges and universities including high school students
on the non-admission or blacklisting of student activists in 17 colleges and universities on Dec. 4, 1970.
The banner in the picture displays 'PSHS Supreme Student Council'."
*Note:
The above honorees were suggested by their respective batches, and the organizing committee did not screen nominations. For inclusion in this list, the candidacy must have been endorsed by at least five batch mates. This list is by no means exhaustive, and inclusion of other PSHS student activists in future tributes is possible after sufficient research has been conducted.
The write-ups in the honorees' respective pages were submitted by the nominating batches, and were neither edited nor proofread by the organizers. Electronic files were uploaded and linked 'as is', and the views and statements therein do not necessarily reflect those of the organizers of "Pagpugay at Pahingalay".
This is a private tribute organized by some alumni of PSHS.
