This class provides an introduction to agility equipment at a low height. We will start you and your dog with target work - working on different surfaces, plank work, the wobble board, and the tunnel. Foundation exercises for you and your dog to work on at home will help with the building blocks of agility. We'll move to the table, low teeter, low A-Frame, the chute, jumps (wing, wingless and broad jump), the tire, and weaves (channel and 2X2). This is a treat / toy driven class. So bring a 6 foot leash, favorite toy(s), and at least 2 kinds of very yummy, soft treats. Please wear appropriate clothing and foot gear for this is an outside class and you may do some light jogging with your dog at times. As always, bring a lot of water for your dog.
Class Dates: Monday - Ongoing 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Class Duration: Six weeks
Class Fees: $60 for Paid-up Annual Pack Members, $130 for Pay-As-You-Go Field Users

Pre-requisite: Beginner Obedience class or Puppy Obedience class

Advanced Beginner Agility Schedule & Registration

Introduction to Agility 2 is a continuation education of Introduction to Agility 1 with small sequences and working towards getting the dog on the full size equipment. More games and exercises are added for you and your dog’s foundation. Homework foundation exercises are provided for you and your dog to work on at home. This is a treat / toy driven class. Class Dates: Wednesdays -Ongoing 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Class Duration: Six Weeks

Prerequisites: Must have completed Introduction to Agility1 and 2 or equivalent as determined by the instructor. .

Class Dates: Mondays - Ongoing 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Class Duration: Cost is per Six Weeks / Classes are ongoing
Class Fees: $45 for Paid-up Annual Pack Members, $120 for Pay-As-You-Go Field Users

Advanced Agility Schedule & Registration

The class will be a variety of short sequences at the Master level to improve your skill when faced with new challenges. Each participant must be willing to try new handling techniques with a positive approach. This course directly reflects what is contained in courses currently in use in competition: boxes, backsides, threadles, 270's, etc.. The class with discuss each sequences, and different handling techniques will be suggested and practiced. Videoing your runs is suggested, Bring your camera, and participants can video each other.
Many different handling styles will be presented as options for handling the exercises. We will work on individual concerns such as contacts, weaves and commitment to obstacles. Lots of proofing will be added in all exercises as tolerated by the teams.

Prerequisites: Dogs need to be able to perform all contacts and 12 weave poles. Participants and their dogs need to be able to perform at the Open/Master Level. If unsure of your skill level, please contact the instructor to discuss prior to signing up.
