2023 Singapore

The 2023 PIPC

It’s our pleasure to announce the fifth Pacific International Politics Conference (PIPC) has been scheduled for Singapore, 7-8 July 2023.

Paper and poster proposals are now being accepted. Proposals addressing any aspect of international politics are welcome. Papers focused on the improvement of social science theory as it relates to international relations are encouraged, particularly but not exclusively quantitative research. Especially encouraged are papers dealing with international politics in the Asia-Pacific region, and/or by researchers based in the region. The deadline for submission is Tuesday, 28 February 2023 (PST).

The conference will be hosted by the Department of Political Science, National University of Singapore. PIPC enforces a limit of one proposal per author.  Authors may submit a proposal to present a single-authored paper and also appear as the non-presenting author on a second paper.  However, authors are limited to appear a maximum of two appearances on the program.

We hope that the Pacific International Politics Conference will continue to develop as a central forum for scientific researchers of IR in the Asia-Pacific region.
