2016 Kyoto

The 2016 PIPC

The inaugural Pacific Peace Science Conference (PPSC) is held in Kyoto, Japan, 2-3 July 2016. We are pleased to announce that we have 26 presentations and a keynote speech. Professor Takashi Inoguch gives a keynote speech on July 2 (Saturday). The program is available here.

The conference is hosted by Doshisha University in the heart of Kyoto. Kyoto is one of Japan’s most beautiful cities, with vibrant modern life, great restaurants, and also a long and rich history. It was the capital of Japan for over a millennium. Doshisha, one of Japan’s leading universities, is also among its oldest private tertiary institutions, founded in 1875.

We hope that the Pacific Peace Science Conference will develop a forum for scientific researchers of IR in the Asia-Pacific region.
