More poignancy, the Class of 1976 must have placed this on the wall outside the cafeteria a few years ago and it looks like it will be part of the demo. Perhaps appropriate as it would be meaningless in the new building. I have been down on Church Street several times this week and each time several cars have stopped in the street with the occupants getting a last view of the building. It is a remarkable touchstone for the community as virtually all Ashlanders born over the past 100 years share a link to this awful structure
