Club sessions

Club sessions are open to club members only. They are normally held on:

They provide the opportunity for members to play games of tennis with other members in a friendly atmosphere. Players of all standards are welcome.  If you are a complete beginner, however, you should be aware that club sessions do not provide any coaching and there is unlikely to be anyone present to provide guidance for beginners. So if you are a complete beginner, we would advise you to have some coaching at least before you start going to club sessions.  For information about coaching offered by the club see the Coaching page of this website.

Balls for club sessions are provided by the Club.

Members can just turn up to play for all or part of a club session – there is no need to book a place in advance.

Anyone wishing to attend a session should make themselves aware of the latest LTA guidance.

Names of people attending may be recording during the session and passed to OU Security; it is possible that they may be retained by the OU as a record of attendance. It is also possible that people will be asked to give their name and their purpose for coming to campus when coming through the main gates.

For further details, see the information on how Club sessions are organized.
