Coaches Please, Please Please, help us out!!! By making sure your team, coaches and parent are informed of all meet sites, meet procedures and rules, so this will help the volunteers and meet officials provid a seamless and smooth operation of such a large meet at the last minute and giving all our OIA athletes the best opportunities to comlete this season. With what looks to be a very wet and disruptive season so far. Let's all come togeter and help out as coaches and athletes as well as your supportes to make this a great and sucessful season for the OIA.
Coaches, Please keep scratches and any changes to a minimum before have it done before the coaches meeting, this helps to reduce re-seeding which causes delays in the running events. Make sure all field event officials make the field event score sheets correctly so we don't have the result done correctly and we can post the result by the end of the meet For example in all field events id the athlete fails to check in please write SCR = scatch, if the athletes fouls in the long, triple, shot and discus write F = foul, in the high and pole vault write X = miss P = Pass O = Make, we seen all kind of other marks. Make sure you are measuring for the correct place so we don't any mistakes as we don't have time to make corrections before the meet deadlines.
Timming Crews will try to make the meet go as fast and as accurate possible but sometimes computers have bad days like all of us. Please bare with us. Back in the day before timing cameras were unsed all schools at a meet had to provided two timers with stopwatches to help time the entier meet or your team goes home. Good luck on timing the short sprint races when you are assinged to the finishing order and not by the lanes, and you better not drink or eat too much, the only breack you have is during the 3000 or back in the day the 3200 run.

New Ticket Policy: Card and Mobile Payment Only with GoFan
Oahu Interscholastic Association (OIA) is pleased to
announce that we will be using GoFan for digital ticketing for OIA events. Fans
can purchase tickets online through the OIA GoFan page or by presenting a card
or mobile payment option at the ticket gate. All major credit cards are accepted,
along with Apple Pay and Google Pay.
The new ticketing policy allows the OIA to operate a more efficient and
professional ticket gate while elevating the fan experience. Buying tickets online
allows fans to access and share tickets easily by email or text without standing in
line.
Fans are encouraged to buy tickets online prior to reaching the facility. For your
convenience, signage will be set up at the venue to help fans navigate an online
purchase quickly and easily.

Host School Pep squad members will be allowed to enter without paying if they are in their team uniform
Each school must provide an athletes, team mangers and coaches list for entry into the trials & finals for the gate personnel
