In the course of 2015 French art critic and writer Laurent Danchin (1948-2017) announced the start of an action to save Chomo's Village d'art préludien for the future. A first phase included the construction of a fence around the site and adding a protective shield to Le Refuge, one of the important buildings of the site. This was done in the summer by students of the Nantes art academy
