This is a traditional event for the Nor'Easters and KONE fliers and generally is a lot of fun. If you have appropriate clothing and can tolerate some cold for a while it is just another kite fly, except it is cold and happening on the first day of the 2025 flying season.
Please join the club at Bug Light Park for fun starting around 11 am. On this day the sun's Meridian is at 11:45 am and sunset is at 4:15 pm. If the weather is lousy enough to cancel the event a note will be posted here no later than Tuesday evening.
