Star Island, off the coast of Rye, New Hampshire. The island is a few miles out in the Atlantic Ocean, reachable with a boat ride. Rosie sent this photo and it looks like there was good wind and a pretty sky.
Flyable area but only during low tide, on Western Bay in Trenton, Maine. This photo shows a much lower tide than the photo to the right. Any wind +/- 45 degrees from south is just right other than having to fly over trees. Tidal information for this area (Oak Point) can be found at this link.
The effect of west coast fires smoke, at sunset, Trenton, Maine. This is the same area as shown in the photo to the left, just a bit later timewise.
Monhegan Island, Lobster Cove, at the southern part of the island. The rocks serve as line anchors for the kites. The winds here are laminar flow, straight off the ocean. Absolutely perfect wind.
The "flying field" here is all uneven ground with rocks everywhere. This makes for challenging launching and recovery. But it's worth the effort.
