From KONE: Greg Lamoureux, Kite Person, US Navy veteran, husband, father and friend, an avid kite flyer, owner of Seaside Kites, and regional director of the American Kitefliers Association (https://www.kite.org/) has passed. He died Saturday, December 23, 2023.

From KONE: Ronnie Mazzotta, kite person, kite builder, "a true kind soul and the kind of rare human that you meet once in a lifetime If you are lucky" died from sudden cardiac arrest while flying kites on Hampton Beach during a KONE Club fly on November 11, 2023.

Nick Vaughan, Kite Person, Nor'Easters Kite Club member, and very successful graduate of the Strive U program in South Portland, died on December 7, 2021. Nick was famous for arriving at the flying field on his scooter with kite bags and kite gear strapped to himself as well as to the scooter.

Leo Albert, Kite Person, Nor'Easters Kite Club member, and apparently a poker player, died in Las Vegas, NV, on September 20, 2021, while playing the game. Leo loved flying his kites, and the field will not be the same without him.

Hank Manseau, of Scarborough, Maine, and the Nor’Easters Kite Club and Kites Over New England, passed away on September 15, 2021. Hank’s passing leaves a giant empty space in the sky that will be difficult, probably impossible, to fill.
