Free Tick Testing
FREE TICK TESTING
February 2016- Typically we do NOT recommend testing ticks for a variety of reasons.
However, since this project is not charging for the tick testing and it is designed to help map ticks and diseases they carry across the USA, we ask that you participate. Instructions are provided on how to package the tick before shipment and the form required to be submitted with the tick can be printed from your computer.
Ticks can be attached to you (please take them off before shipping), unattached (found crawling on clothing or in natural settings), from your pets or other animals.
The literature states your tick test results should be emailed to you within five days.
PLEASE DO NOT WAIT FOR THE RESULTS
