Thorney Island Coast Path

6.8 miles around the shoreline of the army base with stunning views of Chichester Harbour. The route is rural with mostly off lead dog walking opportunities and plenty of deserted shoreline. 

There are two points at which you need to go through an automatic security gate on the path. There is an intercom by the gate to contact the gate to contact the "gatekeeper" to automatically unlock the gate.  From there on you are walking on Ministry of Defence land.
