Refer Consumers to Enrollment Assistance
North Carolina Hotline for Enrollment Assistance Appointments: 1-855-733-3711
The NC Hotline for Assister Appointments is operated by Legal Aid. When consumers call the hotline, operators use the Connector to locate and schedule appointments with a local assister. If no Connector appointments are available, operators provide contact information for the consumer to call local assisters directly. The hotline is promoted in the media and through advertisements.
Find Local Help is maintained by the Marketplace & used to refer callers to the Marketplace application line to local assistance. In addition to using FLH to locate other assisters, health centers should update their information regularly. Update your FLH listing here.
The Get Covered Connector is a scheduling tool. On the back end, assisters can post appointment availability, send automatic reminders to consumers, and complete reports on appointment outcomes. On the front end, consumers can search and book appointments directly with assisters from many different organizations. FQHCs in NC can utilize the Connector to post appointment availability for free. To sign up, email Mark Van Arnam at markv@legalaidnc.org. Any organization can refer consumers to the Connector to locate an appointment near them.
