I have technology woes! Honestly, technology is not my friend and I have a hard time with technology. I want to learn as much as I can regarding technology as I feel this will make me a better educator for my students. Today’s students are so smart, and they are growing up in a technology world. We, as educator’s, need to stay up-to-date will all the new apps and software. We need to be able to answer any technology questions that are students may ask us.
In my Teaching with Technology class, we have some important assignments coming due soon. I have never written a script, never designed a storyboard, never have I drawn a comic strip, or used iMovie. While I am very excited to learn new things, the stress of these assignments is beginning to get the best of me. Although, I will not let these assignments define me and I will succeed!
For my film for one of my assignments that will use iMovie, I will make a film titled A Day in the Life of My Nine-Year-Old. I can not think of a better and more rewarding topic that bragging about my amazing son. He is such a blessing, so smart, very caring, and a hard worker. I will discuss his normal day, his school days, his after school activities, and how we spend time as a family.
For my comic strip assignment, I will design my comic strip about our fur baby, Max. He is such a cool dog whom resides with two cats. So, his life is very interesting, and I am excited to share his photos with my classmates.
As you can see, I have my ideas for my assignment topics. The issue will be learning new software and not letting technology get the best of me. To Be Continued….
