Group presentations and group projects are a great learning tool. They both can both build confidence in a student. I am becoming not as scared as I was in the beginning of class. It is much easier now to present a project in from of the class, but I am hoping I will start to enjoy it more. It is important as a future educator to be confident in front of people. I think a group project's success depends on which partner is in your group. It seems you always have one that does not complete their share of the work. This is very hard since your grade also depends on your group partner's effort. In another case, you have the partner that wants to be in charge of every aspect of the project. Personally, I sit back and go with the flow sort of speak. I, myself, would rather not work within a group and this way your grade depends on your own work and effort. It is also hard when you have to find your partner for the group project yourself. I tend to wait and see whom is still needing a partner. I am slowly though coming out of my shell and working in groups has helped this process.
