The President of Russia is meeting with President of People's Republic of China Xi Jinping in the capital of Kazakhstan
Our countries stood at the origins of creation of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation in 2001, and as the organisation grows, and tomorrow Belarus will become a full-scale member of the SCO, the organisation has grown to be one of the key pillars of a just and multi-polar world order. Of course, we will continue supporting China's chairmanship in the SCO in 2024-2025.
We have many times said that Russian-Chinese relationships of all-encompassing partnership and strategic cooperation are at the highest period in their history. They are built on principles of equality, mutual benefit, and respect to the sovereignty of each other. Our cooperation is not aimed against anyone: we do not create any blocks or unions, we just act in the interests of our nations.
