This release includes a bumper set of changes:

The Options Page has had its UI updated to make editing Search Engines easier and less cluttered. This change also includes a few tweaks to the visual appearance of the Option Page.

It is also now possible to mark one of the Search Engines as the Extension's Default Search Engine, this is then used as the default for Omnibar searches using the "multi" keyword.

There are new Desktop Notifications for when a Search Engine couldn't be added from The Mycroft Project or from Open Search (when using the Page Action), these include a Desktop Alert for Search Engine already added and for Search Engine could not be added (caused by a malformed OpenSearch description).

The Desktop Notification also now have a setting to govern when they are displayed. The default is to only display Desktop Alerts when the user attempts to add a Search Engine from The Mycroft Project or using OpenSearch from the Page Action. Alternative options are to also display Desktop Alerts when a Search Engine is automatically added using OpenSearch or to silence all Desktop Notifications.

Finally there is an experimental addition, this is a new web page embedded within the Extension, the experimental web page allows the new Default Search Engine (and any additional tabs that it should open) to be called from a URL. The URL for this is:

chrome-extension://afmdpmddiokpdknaeofdnlclbpgehhce/search.html?s=%s

Where the %s is the search string, the intention for this is to allow Chrome's Default Search Engine to use Multi Search's Default Search Engine, however Chrome doesn't seem to allow Extension's internal web pages to be used as the Default Search Engine. I plan to create an external web page that can redirect to the internal web page to circumvent this problem, watch this space for further news.
