Objective of this course is to familiarize students with basics of Microprocessors, Microcontrollers and Embedded Systems. There will be theoretical as well as hands-on work including:

• Intel 8051 Microcontroller

• Intel 8086 / 8088 Microprocessor

• Microchip (PIC) 18 F Microcontrollers

Note: Only 1 or 2 assignments will be conventional writing assignments. Remaining of the assignments will be programming assignments and students

will be required to display their functionality on Microcontroller boards.
