Equilibrium

Students will learn about the conditions necessary for static equilibrium, which are that forces and torques both be balanced.

The torque equation will be applied to uniform loaded beams, ladders, etc.

Note that angular velocity, acceleration, momentum, and inertia are not part of the physics 12 curriculum, but are part of any college course that includes rotational physics.
