Dynamics

One-Dimensional (grade 11)

We will learn about the force of gravity, force of friction, elastic forces, Newton’s laws of motion, net force, normal force, law of conservation of momentum, collisions, and explosions. All of this will be one dimensional (in a line).

Two-Dimensional (grade 12)

We will apply Newton’s laws of motion to solve problems involving acceleration, gravitational field strength, and friction, and apply the concepts of dynamics to analyse one-dimensional or two-dimensional situations.
