Intro to Sketchup 3D Designs
1) Students will sign into their Google Classroom.
- Go to Google Sites
- Click your name and add new date.
- Write about: If you were ruler of the world, what things would you banish absolutely for all time (rain on weekends, eggplant, and so forth)? Make a list. Use your imagination. (3-5 sentences and include pictures)
2) SWBAT create and design their dream home using Google Sketchup.
Essential Question: What makes a good house?
a) click the worksheet for instructions
b) Download the 3D House Block to help you get started
c) When starting SketchUp, make sure to choose "Woodworking-Millimeters"
Checklist:
- 2 doors (Front and Back)
- Windows on all sides of your house
- Make sure all windows and doors have a frame.
- Landscape
- paint your home
