The Story of Hope

   

 The Story of Hope is a student investigation into the death of Orca CA189, affectionately named Hope by school children who visited her.  Students are placed into teams of experts working together to discover what led to Hope's death.  

     The Port Townsend Marine Science Center operates a cool little museum/aquarium in the town of Port Townsend Washington, and have the skeleton of CA189 on display!  They also maintain an awesome website that will help students gather information for their research!
