Due Date: Tuesday the 29th of November 2011, 5:00PM
Create a screencast using Jing of a Power Point or Prezi presentation, showing 5 different event that lead Germany (and Germans) to:
1. Move from a Democracy to a Totalitarian State
2. Promoted the Nazi Racial Ideology
3. The alienation and brutalization of Jews, Gypses, Gays, Jehovas witnesses, etc...
4. Legitimatizing the Nazi Regime in the eye of the international community
5. Be convinced to begin WWII
For each event:
1. Provide a picture from that event itself, not one from this time period in general, but one from that specific event. Explain what year this photo was taken and where it was taken.
2. Below the photograph, include the source that you got the photo from
3. Provide an explanation as to why you think this event lead to one of the 5 points mentioned above. Your can decide to specialize on one point from the 5 mentioned above or you can focus on all 5 of them, having 1 picture relate to 1 point.
4. The explanation have to be read from a transcript that you wrote in your own words. I WILL NOT ACCEPT A TRANSCRIPT THAT IS COPIED AND PASTED FROM ANY OTHER SOURCE. The entire transcript has to be your own words.
Requirements:
1. You must create the transcript and send it to me - it has to be your own words. Send it to me and my T.A. in a Google Doc.
2. At the top of the Google Doc, you will create a link to the screencast that you made. I should be able to click on it and see the movie, so make sure it's made public and I will be able to access it.
3. Save your Google Doc as: First Name___Last Name___Germany 1933-1939
