January 2010 after hessian laid down. This section was closed off as it was just a secondary pad that had developed. The track goes past on the right side of the rock in the foreground.
Beside Johnston Tarn and looking north. Hessian used to help rehabilitate are and an X sign to discourage use. The X sign has gone. Photopoint 5009CF
