Nov 13, 7:30 pm at Carol Rose's house, 28 Jennifer Road, 12302 (Glenville)
A HUGE THANK YOU TO MAYBEY'S STORAGE !
They have agreed to serve as drop off points AND store all the goods people are collecting. THANK YOU to Maybey's for this huge support! Please don't drop off until we update the website to say they're ready as they need to contact staff at each location and get setup. IMPORTANT: Do NOT bring dry food of any sort that mice might get into. They will not allow it in their storage units. Those items will be collected on December 1, when we collect, sort and load the goods onto the truck. Exact location is in the works. Stay tuned!
Thank you to the Albany Obedience Club for yet ANOTHER Rescue a Rescue level donation.

If you or your organization can donate $500 or more, we are able to "Rescue a Rescue" by meeting a significant need for one of the 501c3 animal rescue groups on our approved list. Our priority is to assist groups approved to pull dogs from New York City shelters.
Ways to Help: Scroll down for more information.
1. Make a Cash Donation
2. Donate NEW or Gently-Used Items from the lists
3. Corporate Sponsors: donate crates, food, dog beds, cat beds, gas cards, help with trucking
4. Pass the word!
Want to be Rescue a Rescue angel? This is what $500 worth of dog food and supplies looks like!
There are 50 fleece blankets in front that you can't even see.
Rescue Angel: Mohawk Valley Kennel Club
And for those organizations that have different needs, here's what one hard-hit rescue will be getting for the holidays this year, a candy-apple red generator so they never have to worry about losing all their pet medications again and so they can continue to care for their dogs and continue their clean-up.
Only four hours on the phone to find a generator, but a promise is a promise and it's on the way!
Rescue Angel: Troy Kennel Club and Pat E
Wish list for NEW items
We would very much like to encourage people to make a cash donation rather than purchasing items.
With cash, we're better able to respond to the exact needs of the group we're helping.
Priority items are changing rapidly!
November 7th - Dog Food
Word today is that dog food is now available. They're asking to hold off for now as they expect they'll need more once the first round of donations runs out.
So, we'll definitely take it if you have it, but let's not go crazy buying dog food right now.
Cleaning supplies are now a priority.
Plastic tubs and storage bins are badly needed!
Bleach
Kennel Cleaner
Paper Towels
Scrub Brushes, Scouring Pads
Garbage Bags
Disinfectant
Hand Sanitizer
Baby Wipes
Laundry Detergent
Rubber gloves of various weights
Other Items Still in Need
Blankets
Small Fleece Blanket Throws
Towels
Crate Pads
Dog Coats
Calming Essences and sprays
Grooming Supplies
For People - Socks, Underwear, Long-Johns, even Snuggies!
Dog Food
Focus on reasonable quality, big quantity rather than buying premium food.
Adult Dog $24 for a 52 pound bag of Pedigree at BJ’s
Regular Sized, Small Dog, Senior and Healthy Weight foods are also needed.
Gently-Used Items List
IMPORTANT
All items must be CLEAN and in good condition
If you have had a sick dog lately, PLEASE do not donate used items.
Towels, Blankets, Batteries, calming essences, food/water bowls, cleaning supplies, puppy formula, leashes, crates, ex-pens, collars, harnesses, muzzles, grooming tools and supplies, treats, beds, crate pads, piddle pads, lanterns, batteries, Interactive Dog Toys (like Kongs). (Other dog toys are not a priority as space is at a premium.) Be creative. We brought down a Snuggie and while they laughed, they also said it was perfect for one of their fosters with no power. We will also accept donations of coats, mittens, gloves for people as these are greatly needed. If you're a cat lover, they need help for foster cats, too.
Please call or email for current information on where to drop off donations.
