"Manora" Labrador Retrievers and Schipperkes
Nancy Scholz has been breeding and showing labrador retrievers since 1978. She has owned and shown schipperkes for over 20 years.
For Nancy, her hobby of purebred dogs is her passion. She is the President of Mohawk Valley Kennel Club as well as our Breeder Referral contact. She is also the person many breeders in the Capital District and beyond look to for guidance in their own breeding programs. Her knowledge of breeding and willingness to answer any question at any time of day or night, is a resource we are lucky to have. Her dogs are bred to produce puppies that are sound in body, mind and spirit, puppies that can be equally successful as members of a family home, or performing the function they were bred for in the field.
All of Nancy's labrador retriever sires and dams receive proper health testing:
---Veterinarian certified clear of hip and elbow
dysplasia. (OFA)
---Examined every year by a Veterinary Ophthamologist to ensure that they are clear of hereditary eye disease
---OptiGen tested for Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA)
