About the Mohawk Valley Kennel Club
We are a local affiliate of the American Kennel Club, located in Schenectady, NY and serving the Capital District area of New York.
Members of our club participate in all sorts of dog sports and activities including dog rescue, work with therapy dogs, agility and obedience. Many of us are also hobby dog breeders. For us, breeding purebred dogs is a challenging pursuit that comes with much responsibility. We take pride in breeding healthy, well-socialized puppies, and in the joy those puppies bring to their new forever families.
We hope this site will be informational and fun for you and your canine friends. So curl up with your favorite canine friend and sniff around a bit. Just click the links in the "sidebar" to check us out. Have fun, but remember, no chewing on the furniture!

2010-2011 Outstanding Sportsmanship Awards Presented to Roy and Helen Baileyfor years of dedication to dogs and to our club. For Helen, who's cheerful, uber-organized stewarding keeps everyone on track and who is so wonderful at making sure all those special touches are in place. And for Roy, who's always up for helping out when needed, who stands year after year in the hot sun or pouring rain parking cars and RV's and never loses his cool. Thank you! We couldn't do it without you!
