7th-12th Grade

Non-Competitive Program

Our conditioning program is made up of swimmers of all different ability and experience levels who are not able to commit to participating in the scheduled meets for the season. Some level of self-direction is required for workout and conditioning pieces of practices though swimmers will get direct coaching for skills and figures work.

Fall Session

(September - November)

  • Swimmers practice 2 days a week

  • Swimmers will have the option to be assigned to competitive routines as non-competitive alternates. Swimmers can also chose NOT to work on a routine but will spend more time working independently

  • The main focus for these swimmers is on strength and conditioning as well as overall skills. They will work on club figures/elements along with their HS figures

Winter Session

(December – February)

  • Swimmers joining at this time generally focus completely on strength and conditioning, skill building, and working on the High School Figures to get a “head start” on the High School season which will begin in early March.

  • With coach approval, some swimmers joining at this time may have the opportunity to join a competitive routine still

Spring Session

(March– May)

  • Swimmers starting in the Spring will generally focus on strength and conditioning, skill building, and working on figures to get a “head start” next season.

  • Swimmers in this group will also get to learn a routine for a show in Mid-May!

  • New Swimmers are able to join the program at this time if desired

The conditioning option is a great opportunity for swimmers to feel prepared for the start of the high school synchro season or next Aquafins season!! Please send us an e-mail if you have any questions about this portion of our program!
