Instructions

Lesson Objective

For this activity you would be required to create a 1 minute video based on your individual assignment.

Pre-Lesson Activities A & B (before 12-Feb-2014) (5 mins)

Activity A - Watch IT !

We have 2 prescribed ICT tools for you to use to start creating your flip videos.

The tools are Screencast-o-matic and Doceri.

You may view the following videos on how to use the softwares to create your video.

Activity B - Plan IT ! (15 mins)

After you had watched the video, it only gives you the technical know-how to create a flipped video.

Wait! You still need content for your flipped video.

Now, you are to prepare a PowerPoint presentation of about 3 slides. Talk about how you want to implement flipped classrooms in your school.

Your slides may include any of the following KEY points :

    1. Describe your context (what levels, what content areas, how many teachers, etc.)

    2. Devise plans for communication, buy-in, professional development, evaluation, etc.

    3. Provide a timeline

In Class Activities (12-Feb-2014) - Do IT ! (15 mins)

What is flipping classroom if you didn't do it yourself?

You are required to create a 1 minute video in class using your 3-slides PowerPoint presentations.

Note: Please bring along necessary equipments for your recording. For example : iPad, Notebooks, headphones, etc

We could re-design our lesson (pedagogical affordances) and choose the appropriate ICT tools (technological affordances) so as to bring about engage learning amongst students and/or teachers in a social space (social affordances) for building knowledge independently or collectively.
