new zero soon

It looks like the new Zero will be released Monday. Pimoroni and Pi Hut have received their stock already.

The new feature is still a mystery. There was a mention on Hackaday a while ago that it would be EMMC Flash on-board, like the Compute Module has. The poster was quite confident that would be it. But of course I can't find the post now.

Nobody in the Pi forums has mentioned this possibility, but someone did say that the Zero PCB was re-designed to allow automatic test. Currently it's being hand tested. If flash was on-board, it would certainly make testing easier. A 4G chip costs about $2.00, and if you eliminate a $1.00 SD socket, it's getting close to free.

I think the only other option is sound output. This wouldn't cost much either. We'll see!

I also hope a new Raspbian is released. It would be nice to have a 4.4.x kernel, so USB Gadget mode will work without using a testing kernel.
