Resources Required: one utility ball or reasonable facsimile (e.g. Basketball, etc.)
Have the children sit in a circle with feet apart (touching toes with their neighbours). Give the ball to one child; he/she holds the ball and state his/her name and something she likes and then rolls it across to another.
Continue until everybody has a turn.
Variations:
Have the next person repeat what the person who rolled them the ball name was and what they liked.
Have the person with the ball repeat the names of the people who had the ball before them.
Uses:
This game is great as an icebreaker in order to learn other people’s names and interests.
