MEDFIRE in the 6º Congreso Forestal Español

Members of the team are attending the 6ht Spanish Forestry Congress to present the MEDFIRE model, some relevant results a recent application. They highlight the influence of fire fighting strategies on fire regimes in a pilot region of the Mediterranean basin. The model results at 50-years have been analyzed to study the future spatial distribution and connectivity of Pinus nigra stands under climatic change context.
