Vets Head of the River

Success! The stalwart Occoquan/Quintin crew of Dick Findlay at stroke, Frank Rowe 7, Phil Stekl 6, Paul Knight 5, Vlado Krizek 4, Darko Miksic 3, Wood Fischer 2, Mike McGuirk bow, coxed by Hattie Roxborough, braved 15 mph winds and associated rough water to win the G Division by 17 seconds over a stubborn Bedford/Nottingham RC entry. Time over the full "Championship Course" from Mortlake to Putney was 20:30.6. Huge thanks to Phil Tinsley of Pangbourne College for the loan of an Empacher 8 and Quintin Boat Club for hosting our activities.
