Raspberry Pi - OpenElec

What is the Raspberry Pi?

Right from their website...I couldn't explain it any better:

"The Raspberry Pi is a credit-card sized computer that plugs into your TV and a keyboard. It’s a capable little PC which can be used for many of the things that your desktop PC does, like spreadsheets, word-processing and games. It also plays high-definition video. We want to see it being used by kids all over the world to learn programming."

When they say credit card, they almost mean it. It is a small form factor. But don't let that fool you. The version I got has LAN, two USB ports, video composite, analog audio and an HDMI port. The Pi also has a bank of I/O that can be used for controlling external devices, like lights, dimmers, and electronic equipment.
