The In-game Heads Up Display (HUD) is refers to all the visual cues that either indicate information or accept your player input within the world of the game and is the main means by which you interact with the game and its mechanics and features. The HUD of HexTerra is simple, minimal and fluid and reflects the aesthetic of the rest of the game world without being overly intrusive and obstructing the world view. The following are features which will be a part of the main in-game HUD.

Disaster Radar
When the world map exceeds the size of your screen, there is a chance that Disasters will spawn outside of the view of your camera. When this happens, the Disaster Radar System will kick in. This system will create a HUD Notification Icon letting you know that there is a Disaster somewhere in your world outside of your camera view that you have not seen yet. You can then tap on the Notification Icon during your turn to have the camera pan directly to the location of the Disaster associated with the icon you tapped. The Notification Icon disappears once it has been tapped or if the corresponding Disaster comes into camera view by some other means (manually moving the camera over to the Disaster, centering it on-screen).
End Turn Button
The End Turn Button is the button that allows you to end the “Player Input” phase of your turn, allowing the game to process your actions and change the world simulation based on the actions you’ve taken, before giving control back to you in the next Player Input phase of the turn sequence. The End Turn Button allows you to End your turn regardless of how many of your Cards you’ve played or Village Abilities used, allowing you greater freedom in how you play each round as well as strategically planning for future rounds and managing your resources.
