Research
I am a marine ecologist studying population and community ecology in coastal environments (coral reef, artificial reef, seagrass/macroalgal beds...etc).
Since PhD student, I have been studying about larval dispersal of marine organisms using approaches of field survey, population genetics, and biophysical model.
Besides these study themes, I am now interested in impacts of herbivore fishes on marine forests in template coasts of Japan under ocean warming.
