When Martin was in the admissions team the government initiative at the time was 'widening participation' remember Tony Blaire in 1997 'Education - Education - Education'. Well the chief executive at that time took this to heart and between them they enrolled that many students, for a while they managed to get to be the 6th largest further education establishment in the country.
Also at this time Martin was practicing his programming skills and experimenting with a games programming suite 'The games factory'. He wrote the game attached in the zip file below which is a simulation of an enrolment room, an advice centre - mystery shoppers and all with a representation of the barriers to education and the enrolment process.
You can download and try the game if you wish, It's probably best to unzip it on to a memory stick and run it from there. (64 bit) users may need to start the programme in compatibility mode (try Windows 98 or 32bit XP).
Let Martin know how you got on (here)
