 Parent Involvement at Fundraisers

The Music Boosters support all the Music Departments throughout the year by hosting various fundraisers to support the needs of the music staff and the students that are not otherwise funded. 

We need you to help us make the Fundraisers worthwhile! Some of these fundraisers just require purchasing  a meal at a restaurant in support of  MHS Music students whereas others may need a little more active support from parents in the form of helping out at a bake sale table before a school concert or donating clothes for a clothing drive.

Separately from fundraisers that support all of the Music Departments The Maroon & White Music Boosters start their fundraising activities in August with activities to specifically support the Marching Band and Color Guard as they participate in Band Camp. Fundraisers for these two extra-curricular groups continue throughout the season and will also require help from parent volunteers. Below is a list of activities that we would love to see volunteers for: 

Hospitality tables after concerts held throughout the school year

Serving refreshments for the Marching Band during home football games

Selling music department merchandise throughout the school year at football games, concerts and elsewhere

Supporting student fundraisers throughout the school year (i.e., Marching band Car Wash, Ashley Farms fundraiser, bake sales and more)

Color Guard clothing drive

Shoprite Bagging
