Cricket in Paradise...

Yes - it really looks like this...

Taking a tour cricket tour anywhere is an adventure. Taking a tour to the Caribbean is a dream; Then add the World Cup and it is a trip of a lifetime.

On April 7th 2007, intrepid travelers from around the world joined together to play a series of matches on the off-days of the World Cup.

From New York, Neil Harrison, Keith Lawrence, Tony Boyke, Jonas Wilson, James Thornton, Jide Adedeji and Neil Kimberley teamed with Lincoln and Eric Harrison and Chris Wright from England, Liam Gallagher from Pretoria, SA and Steve, Jared, Nathan, Stu, Evan, JT and Tim from Perth WA to become a team for a week. The result has been a remarkable, genuine experience on an island that is a friendly as it is spectacular.

The trip was not just about the MDCC matches, we also completely experienced the World Cup...

Dogs at the World Cup

The new stadium on the island is tremendous - great sights from the Pavilion

Unfortunately some of the cricket was a little predictable.

But we always had the Party Stand!!!

The Dogs on The Beach

We also went to Grand Anse Beach - where beach cricket is a tradition.

We also had to play of course...

Lincoln Harrison was alert at Mid Wicket

Lincoln. Eric, Eddie, Chris, Neil and Jide...
