U.S. Congressman

Wisconsin Governor
Eight Democrats have entered the race for governor as of the first week of October: 

• Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley, who previously served in the State Assembly for two terms and currently leads Milwaukee County.

• State Representative Francesca Hong, who represents Madison’s east side in the State Assembly. 

• Missy Hughes, the former head of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC).

• Former State Representative Brett Hulsey, who served in the State Legislature for four years and ran for Governor in 2014.

• Lieutenant Governor Sara Rodriguez, who currently serves as Evers’ second-in-command. She previously worked in various public health roles. 

• Zachary Roper, a political science student at Carthage College.

• State Senator Kelda Roys, who represents a Madison Senate District, has previously served in the State Assembly, and ran in the 2018 primary for Wisconsin Governor.

• Ryan Strnad, a beer vendor for 25 years who has not previously held public office. 

Three Republicans have entered the race for governor as of the first week of October: 

• Andrew Manske, a medical service technician from the Milwaukee area who has not previously held public office. 

• Josh Schoemann, current Washington County Executive since 2020 and has served as county administrator and county manager.

• U.S. Representative Tom Tiffany, who has held his seat in the U.S. House since 2020, previously serving in the State Senate from 2013 to 2020.
