Do Not Be Swayed by Misinformation
Most television and social media ads are misleading.
Ads may appear in favor of a candidate but be paid for by the candidate's opponent.
The government cannot regulate candidates' political ads. Lying is allowed.
Photos and videos may be altered, although that should be disclosed.
Instead, watch debates and forums. Read a trusted news source.
