The Logan church of Christ is located in Logan Utah in the heart of Cache Valley. Our congregation came together in 1958 to worship and praise God as instructed in the Bible. We are a non denominational group without any central headquarters. We get our rules and regulations strictly from God's true word, the Bible.
The church
The church is the body of Christ with Christ as its head (Ephesians 1:22-23). Acts 20:28 tells us that Christ purchased the church with his own blood. Ephesians 4:4-6 states that there is only one body, one Lord, one faith, and one baptism. This is why it is extremely important why we should realize the seriousness of being outside of Christ's church when we die. On the last day Christ's church will be presented to the Father, the one true God (1 Corinthians 15:23-24).
Even though there have been many false teachers in the past that have brought destructive doctrines and turned the hearts of many away from God, Christ's church still exists today, His church is just as it was when the Lord first gave it to his apostles. It has not changed. It is the people who want to change. We desire to bring people back to Christ's church as we are instructed in Jude 1:23 to save others, snatching them out of the fire.
The Bible
The entire Holy Bible is the inspired word of God, and the only inspired word of God. The Old Testament gives us a history and shows how God dealt with man. We are to learn from these examples, but we are not bound by its teachings (animal sacrifice, temple worship, tithing, or any of the laws of Moses) (Galatians 3:25) We are to use the entire New Testament for the instruction of the church without adding or omitting anything (Revelation 22:19) We speak where the Bible speaks, and where the Bible is silent, we remain silent. The Bible equips us for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
We desire to introduce people to the church and spread the gospel. We teach biblical principles (Matthew 22:36-39), and exhort one another (Colossians 3:16). We hope that this site helps encourage all that visit. Our Lord's way is easy and the burden is light (Matthew 11:28-30).
