The Saarbrücker Schriften zu Linguistik und Fremdsprachendidaktik (SSLF), also known as the Saarbrücken Series on Linguistics and Language Methodology (SSLLM) and Documents sarrebruckois de linguistique et de didactique des langues étrangères (DSLDL), is a scholarly publication series dedicated to advancing the integration of linguistics and foreign language pedagogy. Established in 2012 to provide a platform for disseminating research findings, the series encompasses three sub-series:
A: Monographs: Featuring in-depth studies and outstanding doctoral theses.
B: Collected Volumes: Compiling collaborative works on pertinent topics.
C: Textbooks: Offering educational resources that facilitate effective language learning.
The series primarily focuses on languages such as English, French, Spanish, Italian and German as foreign languages. It welcomes contributions both addressing these languages or written in them. Each publication undergoes comprehensive review and copyediting by the editor or invited co-editors, all of whom are university language professors or researchers.
In line with its commitment to open-access publishing, the SSLF series ensures that all works are freely accessible online, promoting the widespread dissemination of knowledge. Each publication is assigned an ISBN, and print editions are stored in the German National Library, further ensuring preservation and accessibility.
The series is available for free download via platforms such as Google Books and the open-access repository Zenodo. This commitment to open access reflects the series' mission to make scholarly knowledge available to a broad, global audience, fostering engagement within the international academic community.
The SSLF series is edited by Professor Thomas Tinnefeld of Saarland University of Applied Sciences, Germany.
