You can reach me on my email: helene.thiercy@lfb.es

If you need something or forgot something, ask before class starts.

When you’re absent you’re expected to catch up on homework (PRONOTE will be daily updated). We will use the class website, itsLearning/ENT and Google Classroom for digital activities [and if you're confined at home].

You need a notebook, a folder or a display book (=cahier, classeur, porte-vues), whichever you prefer, where you’ll keep track of the vocabulary, grammar lessons and activities we do in class – each chapter needs to be kept in your folder until the final evaluation. Have paper to write on, keep your notes clean and organized. I’ll collect them from time to time and check how you organize yourself. Don’t hesitate to ask if you need help or have any doubt.

Seating in class : You will be assigned a seat in class. You are expected to seat there – except during group activities. Seating will change periodically throughout the year. Don’t hesitate to say if you need to be in the front (i.e. to see the board better).

Oral Participation and Homework

Participate as much as possible in the written and oral activities. Don’t hesitate to use the school library to read, watch and listen to documents in English. Use the Internet or any other resources to be as much as possible in contact with the English language.

At the end of each term you’ll get a ‘note de vie de classe’ which evaluates your progress (participation to the class activities, homework, oral tests conducted at the beginning of a class to check that you’ve done personal work).
