Photographers World Album

When Percy Lund produced the Photographer's World Journal from 1886 through to 1889 he sent it up to five thousand copies to photographers and dealers throughout the world. The journal was 'for the profession only' He encouraged professional photographers to send him self portraits in a cabinet card format with their names and addresses on the back. Our Portrait Album

Our Request for a portrait of each of our readers has been met in a generous spirit by many, and over 150 cabinets have been recieved. Many friends have sent portraits of thier wives and families, and in lieu of these, their dogs, or some other interesting subject. All these have been made up a most attractive collection, and if from month to month the gifts continue to pur in, in a few years we shall be the fortunate possessors of probably the most unique collection of photographs in the world.
