The house is on the hills surrounding Granges-sur-Vologne, with exact address: 14 Aux Goutelles, 88640 Granges-sur-Vologne and GPS coordinates 48.13154,6.783843
To reach the house from Granges-sur-Vologne at the church (3km, 8min)
- With the main entrance of the church in your back, turn left (rue de Lattre de Tassigny): still in the town center pass the pharmacy on the right, cross the small river, pass the 'Proxy' supermarket on your right (all within 300m).
- After about 1.5km from the church turn right at the second large possibility on D31 with signs to Le Tholy 13km/ Liézey 10km / Jardin de Berchigranges 3km / Gina Park camping site.
- Then drive passed the joinery Balubois (left), see the village limit sign, pass the depot of the hydraulic Maurice (left).
- After just less than 1km since the last turn and just after Maurice, turn right into "Le Rayau" street with sign to Etang du Rayau / Gina Park camping site
- Follow the 3 bends of the street, cross the small creek and at the T-juncture turn left towards the Gina Park (the sign is a bit worn down).
- Do not stop at the Gina Park, but instead leave it on your left, pass the waste bin containers (left), keep always right and follow for about 700m uphill.
- Once again at a T-juncture (you are looking at the entrance to the house with #8, on the right you see a farm) turn left and drive for 600m passed the soil extraction site (right) to the next house on the right (#20) which is just before the street is bending left (if you see a house on the left side of the street you drove way too far).
- At house #20 turn right between the main house and the small barn in stone . The path from the tared road is uphill and slightly muddy for 200m (see a Google Street View picture for the path to take, the picture does not indicate the house yet). Once uphill you are right in front of 'Le coin perdu' with a big portal and a small #14. The parking space is directly after the additional bend around the house (not in front of the portal).
Note that in winter the path uphill is not cleaned from snow; in case of too much snow you would need to park the car next to the tar road and walk uphill.
