Surf the Seas

Week 1 (June 10-14), Week 4 (July 1-3)

In this eco-friendly camp, campers will explore various avenues of conservation and how science is an important aspect to preserving nature. Set on the beautiful San Diego Bay, campers will learn how they too can be conservation champions by interacting with amazing animals, seeing wild plants, and conducting awesome experiments!     

All camp schedules and activities are subject to change based off organizational and animal needs.

During Camp, we will:

Day 1:

• Feed an animal.

• Play a game.

• Go on a beach clean up.

Day 2:

• Kayak or paddleboard on the San Diego Bay.

• Learn the importance of water quality.

• Meet a Living Coast animal ambassador. 

Day 3:

• Learn all about composting.

• Meet an animal.

• Make a craft with compost.

Day 4:

• Kayak or paddleboard on the San Diego Bay.

• Meet a reptile.

• Go on a hike.

Day 5:

• Learn about the 6 R's of sustainability.

• Meet an animal.

• Do an experiment.
