Planet Protectors

Week 1 (June 10-14), Week 4 (July 1-3)

In this exciting experience, campers will upcycle ordinary items, get hands on with compost, learn how to combat climate change, and have fun exploring the local South Bay ecosystem. Activities such as animal encounters, experiments, and crafts will help campers become experts in protecting the planet!

All camp schedules and activities are subject to change based off organizational and animal needs.

During camp, we will...

Day 1:

• Learn all about composting.

• Meet an animal.

• Make a fun craft.

Day 2:

• Learn about recycling.

• Meet a unique animal ambassador.

• Play a game.

Day 3:

• Do a beach cleanup.

• Make a craft.

• Do a scavenger hunt.

Day 4:

• Meet a reptile.

• Learn about the 6 R's.

• Make a craft.

Day 5:

• Meet an animal.

• Take a hike around the refuge.

• Learn about plants.
