Sea Turtle Splash

Week 3 (June 24-28)

Splash into science with the Living Coast! Through animal encounters and hands-on activities, campers will learn all about sea turtles, their life cycle, and the species of turtles that call San Diego home.

All camp schedules and activities are subject to change based off organizational and animal needs.

During camp, we will:

Day 1:

• Learn about how sea turtles are reptiles.

• Go on a nature hunt.

• Make a sea turtle craft.

Day 2:

• Meet an animal.

• Learn about the sea turtle life cycle.

• Conduct a science experiment.

Day 3:

• Learn about the different species of sea turtles.

• Paint a sea turtle craft.

• Feed an animal.

Day 4:

• Make a sustainable craft.

• Participate in a sea turtle relay race.

• Meet and touch a reptile.

Day 5:

• Learn about the sea turtles that live in San Diego.

• Go on a hike.

• Visit animals in the Living Coast Galleria.
